KEY ASPECTS

  • Two individuals practicing martial arts or taekwondo in a spacious, empty training room with wooden floors and a large mirror on the wall.

    PATTERNS

ITF patterns (tuls) are a series of set movements performed in a specific sequence, passed down through tradition, designed to develop correct technique, power, balance, breathing, and mental focus while preserving the history and principles of TaeKwon-Do.

  • Two taekwondo practitioners in black belts practicing in a gym, wearing protective gear.

    SPARRING

ITF sparring is fast, dynamic, and tactical, built around speed, movement, and sharp technique.
It develops timing, distance, and the ability to read an opponent in real time.
Footwork, angles, and combinations are key, rewarding intelligence as much as athleticism.

  • Martial arts students practicing in a studio with a large mirror, wearing martial arts uniforms with patches and belts.

    linework

ITF line work is the foundation of TaeKwon-Do, where techniques are drilled repeatedly across the floor to build power, accuracy, and strong fundamentals.
It sharpens stances, balance, and coordination through precise, disciplined movement.
